STRESS MANAGEMENT


What is stress?

When one cannot cope with specific demands and events results in to stress. 
In this present condition,lot many people are undergoing stress in terms of work from home, financial pressures, relationship and others. 

Even though it is mental pressure, but results in increasing susceptibility to various diseases and also depression

It can be managed by focussing on food and lifestyle modifications that are easily done being at home.

Food include Vit C rich, high selenium and magnesium.
They are Beet root, carrot, Cashews,almonds, pistachio, Broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, tomatoes.

Regular intake of fruit salads with guava, grapes, orange, cantaloupe, berries.

Activities include
Setting time for one's own activities
Walking, Jogging, hopping, laughing therapy and stretching exercise.
Siro Abhyanga (application of hair oil) with brahmi oil regularly
Bath with lukewarm water.
Ensure proper  and adequate sleep. 
While sleeping by lightening a candle with essential oils.
Inhalation of almond oil etc soothes nerves (goes to sinus and a part gets absorbed by nerve tissue) and reduce the anxiety.

Making surrounding environment pleasant 

Spending time with friends and family. 
Listening pleasant music
Learn to say 'no' the reason which causes excessive stress.
Focussing on relaxation hobbies, interest and tours 
Adapting flexibility  and learn to manage.
Switching off gadgets before half and hour to sleep.
Application and rubbing of feet with brahmi oil before going to sleep.


Regular practice of Yoga and meditation

Asanas include sukha asana,Padma asana, vajra asana, Paschimotta asana, Bhujanga asana, Veerabhadra asana, tadaasana, Trikonasana and Shava asana.
Pranayama and Meditation atleast for 15-20 mins.
Ayurvedic medicines :

Can use Manasa Mitra vati, Aswagandha avalehyam , Brahmi vati, Tablet Jatamansi ,Saraswati arishta under medical supervision.

Pancha karma procedure include Abhyanga, sweda, sarvanga dhara ,siro dhara,siro pichu.

KHARJURADI MANTHA (Dates blend)

KHARJURADI MANTHA (Energy Drink)  Mantha means mashed or well blended. The drink which is prepared by churning or blending the ingredients well and diluting with cold water is  known as Mantha.  Ingredients Quantity Seedless grapes - 30 gm Soft dates - 20 gm Puffed paddy (laja) roasted - 3 tea spoons (15 gm) Jaggery - 10 gm Cold water - 300 ml No of Servings: 2 glasses (400 ml) Method of preparation Blend the ingredients in a mixer grinder, add cold water and stir well. Kadali (Banana) అరటి - Musa paradisiaca, Musaceae

Medical uses: 1. Peripheral Neuropathy: The crushed flowers of kadali (banana) tree fried with castor oil slightly and be used for fomentation or  as a bandage on the extremities for burning sensation.  2.
