గర్భిణీ లలో నిర్జలీకరణ ( నీరింకుడు)

శరీరం లో శీతలీకరణ వ్యవస్థ మందగిస్తుంది. అప్పుడు చర్మం పొడిబడటం,శ్వాస ఎక్కువసేపు తీసుకోవడం, గుండెదడ, వాంతులు, వికారం, విరేచనాలు,కండరాల తిమ్మిర్లు వంటి లక్షణాలు కనిపిస్తాయి. ఈ కారణాల చేత శిశువుకి రక్త ప్రస రణ తగ్గిపోతుంది. దీని వల్ల శిశువు ఎదుగుదల దెబ్బతినే అవకాశం ఉంది. గర్భధారణ సమయంలో నిర్జలీకరణం కారణంగా శిశువుకి గర్భం లోపల ఉండటం కష్టం అవుతుంది. ఈ కారణంగా గర్భ నష్టాలకు గురవుతుంది. ఈ పరిస్థితి పుట్టుకలో వచ్చే లోపాలు (అంగ వైకల్యం) కి దారి తీస్తుంది. ఒక వేళ గర్భిణీ స్త్రీ గర్భం దాల్చడా నికి ముందే రక్తపోటుతో బాధపడుతున్నట్లైతే, రక్తపోటు అదుపులో ఉంచడానికి 'మూత్ర విసర్జన ' మందులను వాడుతున్నట్లైతే వెంటనే అవి ఆపి వేసి డాక్టర్ల పర్యవే క్షణ లో ప్రత్యామ్నాయ మందులను వాడాలి. గర్భధారణ సమయం లో నిర్జలీక రణం వలన తల్లి శిశువు మూత్రపిండం, కాలేయం మీద కూడా ప్రయాసని ఉంచుతాయి. దీని వలన ప్రసవ సమయం లో సమస్య ఎదురవవచ్చు. అదే చివరి మూడు నెలలో నిర్జలీకరణ వలన పురిటి నొప్పులు ముందే మొదలయ్యి అకాల ప్రసవం కావచ్చు  అందువల్ల తగినన్ని జాగ్రత్తలతో పరిస్థితి నియంత్రించవచ్చు. 1. తగినంత నీరు, కొబ్బరి నీళ్ల

GULKAND - ROSE PETAL JAM

GULKAND (Rose Petal Jam) Ingredients Quantity Rose petals - 250 gm Sugar - 250 gm Total quantity: 450 to 500 gm Method of preparation Collect fresh, preferably desi rose petals, sort and wash well, dry thoroughly.  May crush or finely chop the petals.  Mix the petals with  sugar in an airtight jar.  Keep the jar in sunlight for 2-3 weeks. A CASE STUDY ON PCOS

A case study on PCOS ABSTRACT: Polycystic ovarian syndrome is also known as Stein-Leventhal syndrome. Incidence of this condition is growing amongst women in their reproductive life. Its occurrence is nearly 1 in 10 women suffering from PCOS. Its incidence is increased in recent era due to sedentary life, change in life style, excessive intake of junk food, stress. It is characterized by amenorrhoea/ oligomenorrhoea/ hypomenorrhoea, obesity, hirsutism. There is chance of occurrence of Diabetes mellitus (insulin résistance), malignancies of endometrium and breast in later stages who suffered with PCOS. Therefore the present study was carried out for clinical evaluation of efficacy of ayurveda treatment on PCOS. AMLA SQUASH

      Healthy and Tasty recipe of Ayurveda AMLA SQUASH Ingredients and Quantity Amla (Indian gooseberry) pulp - 1 kg  Candy sugar (Mishri ) - 2 kg  Rock salt - 10 gm Roasted cumin seed powder - 10 gm Black pepper powder - 5 gm Black salt - 5 gm  Water - 1 litre  Servings: 3 litres 3 times water to be added for serving, may adjust the quantity of water as per the required taste. Method of preparation Boil amla and de-seed. Keep it aside until cools and make pulp by grinding. In a large vessel, take sugar, and add equal quantity of water, heat it so that sugar dissolves completely. Sugar syrup should be made double or 2.5 times quantity of Alma Pulp. Take the pulp in a big vessel, slowly add sugar syrup and mix it well.  When the pulp and syrup are properly mixed, take a little bit mixture in a small bowl to mix  spices. Medical uses : 1. Fever : The leaf paste of bimbi is applied externally over the body in order to induce perspiration in fever. 2. Scabies : Fistful of leaves are soaked in 100 ml of coconut oil and placed in the sun for three days.  This oil is applied over fungal infections in order to get the relief in itching and scabies.  3. Mouth Ulcers: Raw tender fruits chewing regularly is beneficial to heal mouth ulcers. 4. Prameha(Diabetes) : 15 ml of bimbi root juice twice a day before food is useful to control sugar lavels in diabetes. It can also  be administered as a adjuvant for medicines of diabetes. 5. Bhumyamlaki (నేల ఉసిరి) : Country Goose berry Phyllanthus niruri, Euphorbiaceae

Medical uses : 1. Jaundice : The juice of whole plant of bhumyamlaki is given in the dose of 10-20ml three times daily.  It cures inflammation of the liver. The extract of the whole plant is used to cure Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. 2. Leucorrhoea : The juice of whole plant of bhumyamlaki in the dose of 20-30ml in early  morning should be administered once daily in case of leucorrhoa, menorrhagia, and other urinary disorders. 3. Diabetes : 10gms of whole plant of bhumyamlaki paste boiled in 100 ml of water till it reduced to 25ml.  Administration of this decoction orally twice a day is very effective in diabetes. 4. Mouth Ulcers : The decoction prepared from leaves and roots of bhumyamlaki is used for gargling for aphthous ulcers. 5. Renal calculi : Regular intake of 20ml of bhumyamlaki whole plant juice daily once is very effective in breaking the stones. 6. Arishtaka (కుంకుడు) soap nut : Sapindus mukorossi, Sapindaceae

1. Menstrual pain (Dysmenorrhea): The seed of arishtaka (soap nut) has a small white or greenish yellow marrow.  5 seeds marrow paste is administered along with 2 teaspoonful of sesame oil in case  of abdominal pain and menstrual pain. 2. Food poisoning : 5 seeds are crushed and soaked in 1 litre of water. This water is given to drink in the individuals who  are poisoned (internally).  This induces vomiting and hence the poisonous effects are reduced.  3. Leucorrhoea : 3-5 flowers of japa paste boiled in 100ml of milk till it reduced to 50ml added with little jaggery and 3 grams of yavani  (Trachyspermum ammi) should be given in leucorrhoea daily once. 2.
